'Beastly' is an edgy teen romance about learning how to see past false surfaces to discover true inner beauty.

Kyle Kingson has it all -- looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity -- and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating "aggressively unattractive" classmates, he zeroes in on Goth classmate Kendra, inviting her to the school's extravagant environmental bash. Kendra accepts, and, true to form, Kyle blows her off in a particularly savage fashion. She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts Kendra and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone that will love him as he is-- a task he considers impossible.

Repulsed by his appearance, Kyle's callous father banishes him to Brooklyn with a sympathetic housekeeper and blind tutor. As Kyle ponders how to overcome the curse and get his old life back, he chances upon a drug addict in the act of killing a threatening dealer. Seizing the opportunity, Kyle promises the addict freedom and safety for his daughter Lindy if she will consent to live in Kyle's Brooklyn home. Thus begins Kyle's journey to discover true love in this hyper-modern retelling of the classic 'Beauty and the Beast' story.

* Sometimes we tend to look at a person's physical appearance and we immediately judge them because of that but we have to look beyond what meets the eye because there is always something good in every person. We just have to be open enough to discover their inner beauty!

* This my new favorite song because it kinda tells of what every ordinary girl goes through everyday but when you look deeper into it, the words have so much meaning. I particularly like these lines...So don't you worry about what people say

Thank you Frank!

I never really thought we would be this close, but maybe destiny wanted us to be together. This year, we finally became classmates, and I can truly say I have gotten to know her better and I’m proud to be her best friend. Thank you, Frank Lavilla.
She is someone on whom you could always count on. She is always there when you need a helping hand. She never fails to brighten up my day. We have so many things in common. First of all, we both love Ian Somerhalder (AHHHH!!), we love watching movies, sharing stories about what happened to us the other day, etc. Most importantly, we are always there for each other, no matter what. Did I mention she is now currently addicted to Grey's Anatomy (just like me)?:) We always seem to be bumping into each other and we're always going around together, whether it's going to the canteen, Biscocho or around Iloilo to do our project. I love hanging out with her because it makes me appreciate her even more. Everyday, we discover new things about each other and become even closer. God has a purpose for everything and His purpose was to let the two of us make an impact in each other's lives.

Frank, thank you for giving me the privilege to be your friend and just remember that I'm always here for you.
