Where's Tyra Banks when we need her?

Australia's Next Top Model 2010 Finals: Amanda Ware, 17, left, is announced winner after a botched announcement initially declaring Kelsey Martinovich as winner.

Blunder Down Under!
Australia's Next Top Model' Host Announces Wrong Winner on Live Finale!

Monday night's finale of "Australia's Next Top Model" included one of the most cringe-worthy moments of the year, when host Sarah Murdoch announced the wrong name of the winner! During the live TV finale, Murdoch announced 19-year-old Kelsey Martinovich was the new catwalk queen, defeating runner-up Amanda Ware — and proceeded to let Kelsey celebrate and even give a brief victory speech.

"I just want to thank the runners-up, they've been amazing and all the girls for keeping me on my toes," Kelsey beamed. "Ah, this is crazy!"

However, moments later, Murdoch — who married News Corp. media mogul Rupert Murdoch's son, Lachlan, in 1999 — became quiet and a shocked look came over her face as she listened to producers in her ear tell her she said the wrong name.

"Oh my God. I don't know what to say right now. I'm feeling a bit sick about this," a stunned Murdoch said on the air as the entire audience and the contestants went silent. "I'm so sorry about this. Oh my God. I don't know what to say. This is a complete accident, I'm so sorry. It's Amanda. It was fed to me wrong.

"This is what happens when you have live TV folks, I'm so sorry," Murdoch added. "This is insane."

However, as gracious as Kelsey was in her victory speech, she was equally polite in her realization of defeat.

"It's OK," she said as she comforted a visibly upset Murdoch. "It's an honest mistake. It's all right Sarah. It's fine!"

An equally stunned Amanda was caught off guard by the mix up and when given the stage to accept her title, she could only say "Really, thanks guys!" with a big smile on her face.

* You're a good sport Kelsey! I hope one day you will get the award that you truly deserve, it may not be in a competition but remember the greatest award that you can ever receive is the goals you have achieved and the lives you have touched. Never give up on your dreams because God has a plan for each one of us & if you don't succeed in the modeling industry, there are more fulfilling things in life outside the borders of that industry. For Sarah, please be careful next time! Review the name of the winner a hundred times to make sure that when you go up on stage and announce the final results, it is the right person. Have a great life! Xoxo- Reine

I see dead people

How would it be to be able to talk to those who have passed on? Melinda Gordon has to face this particular situation in the (cancelled) show Ghost Whisperer. She is a newly married woman living in a small town and she owns an antique shop. However, this is not her only job. She also possesses the gift of communicating with spirits and she helps them resolve their issues for them to cross the light. As she does this, she has to deal with her personal life, risking the reputation of her sanity, as well face other entities from the “other side”.

I can’t get enough of this show. It’s horrifying and intriguing at the same time. You want to stop watching because your heart is already palpitating, but you just have to find out what the real deal is with the ghost. The storylines are unexpected, and full of drama and suspense. However, I also can’t wait to see Jim and Melinda together. They are so cute as a married couple, plus Jim is very supportive of his wife. It doesn’t hurt that he’s cute too.:)
Wouldn’t it be scary, though, to have this kind of gift? I don’t think I could handle seeing ghosts at every corner, popping out at all times. I would be screaming my head off all the time. So, I’ll leave the ghost chit-chat to Melinda Gordon.

Goodbye.. Rose!

'Titanic' Actress Gloria Stuart Dies At 100

Gloria Stuart - the longtime Hollywood veteran popularly recognized for her role as the elder Rose in James Cameron's "Titanic" - has died. Stuart was 100.

"Gloria Stuart Sheekman expired in her sleep shortly after 8 PM in the evening Sunday September 26th, 2010, in the bed she had built decades earlier out of two life size merry go round horses,," Stuart's family said in a statement to Access Hollywood on Monday. "She was attended by her daughter Sylvia Vaughn Thompson and her extended family." Born on July 4, 1910, in Santa Monica, Calif., Stuart's career kicked off in the early 1930s as the star of numerous horror films and musicals. Her resume boasts an impressive list of credits, which spanned eight decades in stage, film and TV. Some of her most notable roles included "The Old Dark House" (1932), "The Invisible Man" (1933) and "The Prisoner of Shark Island" (1936). However, it was her role in Cameron's 1997 blockbuster "Titanic" -- starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet -- which earned Stuart her first Oscar nomination, for her turn as Rose Calvert, the survivor of the legendary sunken vessel.

At age 87, she became the oldest actress ever to be nominated for an Academy Award. However, the Best Supporting Actress Oscar went to Kim Basinger for "L.A. Confidential that year.

Access Hollywood was on the scene for Stuart's 100th birthday party in July of this year, where her "Titanic" co-star Suzy Amis and director James Cameron were on hand to help her celebrate the milestone. "We've stayed close since the making of 'Titanic,'" Cameron said at the time, noting he first met the actress in 1996 when she was 86. "She loves life and she loves people. She's got a great wit and she likes the humor inherent in any situation and she just is a great person that we can all learn a lot from in terms of values. I have infinite respect for her."

Not surprisingly, Stuart left a lasting impact on many of the people she worked with.

After appearing in more than 40 films from 1932 - 1939, and then in only four films during the 1940s, Stuart retired from acting for a while, according to the LA Times.

She made her return to the profession in 1975, with several small TV roles. Her return to the big screen came in 1982 with a role in the comedy "My Favorite Year," starring Peter O'Toole.

Subsequent projects leading up to her "Titanic" comeback included 1984's "Mass Appeal" starring Jack Lemmon and the 1986 football comedy "Wildcats" starring Goldie Hawn.

In 2000, she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Her final acting credit is listed as Lionsgate's 2001 thriller "The Million Dollar Hotel" starring Mel Gibson and Milla Jovovich.

* You will forever be remembered our beloved Rose, Thank you and Goodbye!

Look, See & Discover Something Within!

'Beastly' is an edgy teen romance about learning how to see past false surfaces to discover true inner beauty.

Kyle Kingson has it all -- looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity -- and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating "aggressively unattractive" classmates, he zeroes in on Goth classmate Kendra, inviting her to the school's extravagant environmental bash. Kendra accepts, and, true to form, Kyle blows her off in a particularly savage fashion. She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts Kendra and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone that will love him as he is-- a task he considers impossible.

Repulsed by his appearance, Kyle's callous father banishes him to Brooklyn with a sympathetic housekeeper and blind tutor. As Kyle ponders how to overcome the curse and get his old life back, he chances upon a drug addict in the act of killing a threatening dealer. Seizing the opportunity, Kyle promises the addict freedom and safety for his daughter Lindy if she will consent to live in Kyle's Brooklyn home. Thus begins Kyle's journey to discover true love in this hyper-modern retelling of the classic 'Beauty and the Beast' story.

* Sometimes we tend to look at a person's physical appearance and we immediately judge them because of that but we have to look beyond what meets the eye because there is always something good in every person. We just have to be open enough to discover their inner beauty!

The life of an Ordinary Girl

Hannah Montana- Ordinary Girl

Uhoo oh yeah,
La da a da

Don't get me wrong,
I love who I am
I don't wanna be ungrateful
It probably sounds strange
I really love the role I play
The songs I sing
But with all the fame
The things that seem so simple,
Suddenly, so far out of reach
Wish that they could see that underneath...
I'm just an ordinary girl!

Sometimes I'm lazy
I get bored
I get scared
I feel ignored
I feel happy, I get silly
I choke on my own words
I make wishes, I have Dreams
And I still want to believe
Anything can happen in this world,
For an ordinary girl
(Like you, Like me)
For an ordinary girl
(Like you, Like me)

How are you?
Hello, Good-bye
One day here, One day there
And again it's time to go
Miss popular always on the road
But my best foot forward
Gotta get on with the show
Strike a pose for the front cover of a magazine
Every where I arrive, I get high-5's
They pay me larger than life
(Yeaheaaaa)
I'm just an ordinary girl!

Sometimes I'm lazy
I get bored
I get scared
I feel ignored (Yeah)
I feel happy, I get silly
I choke on my own words
I make wishes, I have Dreams
And I still want to believe
Anything can happen in this world,
For an ordinary girl

So give it everything or nothin' at all
Get back on your feel when
You stumble and fall
A little luck can go a long way
So don't you worry about what people say
Who knows when the wind may blow
For an ordinary girl... (Mmmm)
I'm just an ordinary girl

Sometimes I'm lazy
I get bored
I get scared
I feel ignored
I feel happy, I get silly
I choke on my own words
I make wishes, I have Dreams
And I still want to believe
Anything can happen in this world,
For an ordinary girl
(Like you, Like me)
(Yeah)
For an ordinary girl
(Like you, Like me)
For an ordinary girl
(Mmmmm)
For an ordinary girl
Like me, like you...

* This my new favorite song because it kinda tells of what every ordinary girl goes through everyday but when you look deeper into it, the words have so much meaning. I particularly like these lines...So don't you worry about what people say
Who knows when the wind may blow
For an ordinary girl... (Mmmm). You have total control over your life, no one can tell you what to do. If you want to be a nurse someday, go for it! Don't let other people get in your way because in the end it is still your life.
Life is too short so while you're still young, enjoy and live it to the fullest because you will never know what tomorrow will bring for an ordinary girl.

Thank you Frank!

I never really thought we would be this close, but maybe destiny wanted us to be together. This year, we finally became classmates, and I can truly say I have gotten to know her better and I’m proud to be her best friend. Thank you, Frank Lavilla.
She is someone on whom you could always count on. She is always there when you need a helping hand. She never fails to brighten up my day. We have so many things in common. First of all, we both love Ian Somerhalder (AHHHH!!), we love watching movies, sharing stories about what happened to us the other day, etc. Most importantly, we are always there for each other, no matter what. Did I mention she is now currently addicted to Grey's Anatomy (just like me)?:) We always seem to be bumping into each other and we're always going around together, whether it's going to the canteen, Biscocho or around Iloilo to do our project. I love hanging out with her because it makes me appreciate her even more. Everyday, we discover new things about each other and become even closer. God has a purpose for everything and His purpose was to let the two of us make an impact in each other's lives.

Frank, thank you for giving me the privilege to be your friend and just remember that I'm always here for you.
